The first step in the election process was a
five-way Primary
Election held June 2, 1998. Karen Orzech received the
highest number
of votes, county-wide, during that election. The top two
candidates
appeared on the ballot during the General Election on November
3.
Once again, Missoula County voters chose Karen Orzech to serve them as
Department #2 Justice of the Peace (13,923 to 12,674 votes). Your
votes of confidence are greatly appreciated.
In 2002, Karen was up for re-election.
During the Primary Election
in June 2002, voters chose her 3 to 1 over the opponent. The
final
step was winning the General Election November 5,
2002. Voters sent a clear message that they wanted to keep
an
independent,
experienced, and unbiased judge to manage your Justice Court.
Your
vote DOES make a REAL DIFFERENCE! Again, Karen received almost
three
times the number of votes as her opponent (22, 762 votes to
8,129).
In 2006, Karen is again up for
re-election. This year's Primary
Election
was on June 6; Judge Orzech received over 70% (12,438 to 5,229) of the
total votes - more votes than any other candidate on the ballot in
Missoula County for a contested race. Your overwhelming support
and vote of confidence is greatly appreciated! The
final
step was winning the General Election November 7,
2006. Once again, voters sent a very clear message that they
appreciated having a professional, experienced and unbiased judge to
take the Justice Court through the next four years. Judge Orzech
received almost twice the number of votes as her opponent (25,054 votes
to 14,816).
In 2010, Karen was up again for re-election. Please get out and vote in both the Primary Election in June and the General Election in November. Your vote DOES make a REAL DIFFERENCE!
We continue to be well prepared and motivated to undertake the large
effort required to mount a successful campaign for future elections,
because we believe that the citizens of Missoula County deserve a
full-time, proven, professional and community leader as their Justice
Court judge. Please contact us if you would like to help be part
of the positive change in our justice system and the community.
Thank you again for your continued support!
